Thomas Yorath

Tom is a Senior Partner at Aon who has been working in pensions since joining as a graduate 15 years ago. A corporate actuary by trade, he advises the sponsors of some of the UK’s largest pension schemes with liabilities totalling £100Bn. His clients describe him as ‘passionate’, ‘dynamic’ and providing ‘high value direct advice’. He leads Aon’s GMP Equalisation team of over 120 colleagues across 15 locations.  Tom is especially keen on providing a platform and support for others to develop and flourish – particularly helping those with niche skillsets to find the right opportunities to flourish.

Outside of his work at Aon, Tom is the proud father of two young children. He is on the council of the Society of Pensions Professions after spending two years chairing their Defined Benefits committee and has acted as a mentor for the 30% club, a global campaign providing mentoring to take action to improve diversity at board and senior levels.
