Suman Sidhu

I’m Suman, and I am truly honored to be nominated for this award—thank you for this recognition!

I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2015 with a first-class degree in Mathematics, fueling my passion for numbers. I pursued this further by completing my Actuarial exams, qualifying in 2019. My career began with an internship in the pensions industry, but I soon switched sides to a graduate role in investment consulting, where I have been ever since.

Three years ago, I relocated to Dubai and currently work at Mercer supporting our clients across the GCC, including Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Insurers, and Family Offices. This role has been an incredible opportunity, offering both exciting challenges and, of course, the wonderful weather—no two days are ever the same. Beyond my client work, I actively contribute to our Women’s Network and am a passionate advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, while also supporting our recruitment initiatives.

Outside of work, I’ve recently taken up Padel lessons and continue to indulge my foodie passion by exploring the amazing restaurant scene here in Dubai.
