Thank you for the nomination! Being an Investment Actuary gives me the privilege to serve UK employees from across the country, helping individuals plan for their retirement and ultimately retire with security from a lifetime of hard work. While the pension schemes I have worked with over the years have differed; this fundamental goal is the same. I started my career at LCP in the pensions and investment teams then moved to the Schroders Solutions business, where I also served as a pension scheme Trustee. This gave me insight into the incredible responsibility that rests on Trustees.

I now work at BlackRock in the OCIO business. I also host our Pensions Podcast! One of my clients at BlackRock is the UK’s first Collective Defined Contribution scheme. This is a subject I am particularly passionate about and feel proud to work in an area shaping the future of the pensions industry.
