Amar Randhawa

I’m a pensions consultant at Mercer where I provide actuarial advice to a range of pension scheme clients. I joined Mercer this summer, having started my actuarial career at LCP. I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2016 with a First Class Masters degree in Mathematics and I’m currently waiting for results to (hopefully!) my final actuarial exam.

I have worked with a variety of pension scheme clients over the past 5 years, ranging in size from £20m to over £10bn. I spend the majority of my time working with trustee clients, on everything from scheme funding, journey planning, and scheme wind-ups.  I also have particular expertise in project managing liability management exercises and bulk annuity transactions. I really enjoy the teamwork and collaboration that comes from these projects; working with clients and their other advisors to achieve the best outcomes for scheme members.

When I’m not talking about pensions, I’m kept busy trying to entertain my energetic one year old puppy, and spending time with my friends & family.
