Delighted (and surprised) to be on the short list! 

I’m a pensions actuary with over 20 years’ experience helping corporates understand and manage their pension risks. After a very short stint in life insurance, my career to date has spanned banks and pension consultancies, where I’ve focused on developing innovative approaches to pension risk management. In my current role at HSBC, I oversee the risk management of our UK and European pension schemes. Over the years I’ve learnt that effective pension risk management isn’t just about numbers – it’s also about strategy and collaboration across all stakeholders. Outside of the day job, I sit on the ICAEW pensions sub-committee and outside of work I enjoy a lot of travel, running and trying (unsuccessfully!) to beat my teenage sons and husband at paddle and pickleball.
