Hi, I’m Izzy and I am both delighted and genuinely surprised to be nominated!

After graduating from the University of Warwick in 2019, I joined PwC’s Actuarial Practice and within 1 week I realised that the Life market was for me! 

I learnt an enormous amount during my time at PwC from working across various projects with BPA firms; actuarial and ALM audits, credit risk modelling, secondments and capital & investment work.

My favourite memories include manning the PwC stall at the 2023 Life Conference, coaching and developing junior colleagues as a career coach and job manager, building an ALM audit team within the Life market, organising industry events, and participating in client pitches — alongside qualifying in 2022 and being promoted to Manager in 2023.

Recently I joined Pacific Life Re’s Client Solutions team, where I’ve thrown myself into executing reinsurance deals, meeting new clients, and even a spot of river-cleaning, which I embarrassingly found almost as tiring as chasing after my lovely (but whacky) dog, Pumpkin.
