It was a wonderful surprise to find out I’ve been shortlisted (and indeed nominated!) for this award.

At a time of new possibilities for DB pensions, I increasingly spend my time helping clients make sense of our changing landscape and what this all means for high quality “endgame” decision-making. I’m really passionate about bringing to life how the newer options and rules all interact which has led to innovative projects for a mix of trustees, corporates and providers. Recent highlights include a range of groundbreaking risk transfer transactions, such as superfunds, as well as developing run-on frameworks and solutions.

I find this really rewarding with each day often still bringing a fresh challenge. It’s great to be part of a team, from within our profession and beyond, working together to improve outcomes for members and other stakeholders.

Beyond work, when not chasing after our three children who keep us entertained, you may often find me running around my adopted home of Birmingham, or enjoying a glass of wine and some cheese over a boardgame.
