Graham Newman

I’m Graham and I’m thrilled to have been nominated for this award – so thank you!

I’ve been working in the industry for 25 years and have enjoyed being part of different organisations ranging from large, publicly listed firms to smaller, family run businesses – each offering me unique experiences.

I’m currently a practising Scheme Actuary and the Chief Actuary at Spence & Partners – a role that is truly fascinating and insightful – there’s always an interesting challenge on the horizon, often requiring me to exercise my judgement to meet the needs of our clients, our firm and my fellow team members.  I also sit on the Main Committee of the Association of Consulting Actuaries and have established a local pensions network in my home town, which has now grown to around 80 members!

Outside of work, I enjoy nothing more than family days out and watching my daughters in gymnastics competitions.
