Cassandra Archer
I’m honoured to be shortlisted for this award – it’s a privilege to have my work recognised!
Throughout my career, I’ve combined actuarial expertise with leadership to shape big ideas in financial services, spanning prudential policy and regulation, strategic advisory, M&A, and traditional non-life actuarial work.
I’m passionate about embedding sustainability into financial decision-making. During my time as Co-Head of the Bank’s Climate Hub, I played a key role in delivering a flagship climate scenario report to the G20, and I’ve spoken at major events, including the opening of London Climate Action Week 2025 at Mansion House.
Today, as Education Lead on the IFoA’s Sustainability Board, I’m focused on equipping our profession to tackle climate challenges. I’ve also contributed to thought leadership, including co-authoring Climate Change: Possible Macroeconomic Implications for the Bank of England’s Quarterly Bulletin.
Outside of work, I’m proud to serve as a Non-Executive Director for a social enterprise, using my governance and strategy experience to deliver real community impact.
